Plamil UK leaders in dairy free foods have liased with nutrition expert Yvonne Bishop-Weston to make a delicious vegan chocolate that's almost too good to be true! Using a new natural birch tree sweetener called xylitol Plamil hope to ensure there's no logical reason to buy Cadbury's or Nestle Dairy milk chocolate ever again.
Adrian Ling is keeping the Plamil innovative tradition alive with a new range of nutrition rich magic vegan chocolate having liased with top London nutritionist Yvonne Bishop-Weston.
Adrian tells us “Yvonne asked if we could create a magic version of our famous dairy free chocolate that she could happily recommend, with no sugar, lower carb, higher protein and perhaps some essential fats, but still retain the delicious flavour of chocolate.”
“Having found a source of birch tree sugar alternative that has a very low Glycaemic Index (GI/GL) value we then added high protein hulled hempseed to add in omega, 3, 6 and 9 and subtle nutty flavour,” says Adrian proudly.
A delighted Yvonne tells us “Plamil really are the Willy Wonkas of healthy chocolate – this really is guilt free with all the health benefits and none of the drawbacks of sugar or artificial sweeteners – at last we really can have our cake and eat it!”
